As the 2009 festival closes we'd like to thank all those who supported us.

From big author events, to workshops, to the smaller gatherings for the newer up and coming talents to the high turnouts for our children's programme, it's fair to say that everyone had a great time over the two weeks of BOOKS 2009.

Special thanks are due in particular to the authors, our guest presenters, the Arts Council the National Gallery of Ireland, Trinity College Dublin and Independent Colleges.

And, of course, the biggest thanks goes to you, the book lovers who filled the rooms, asked the questions, bought the books and thronged the authors at our special signing sessions.

From all at the BOOKS 2009 team to all of you, thanks for coming and we'll see you all again next year.
